Waffle with Smoked Salmon and Cheese Cream

A dish that seduces the senses, where the crispness of the waffle pairs beautifully with the savory smoked salmon, and the creaminess of the cheeses harmonizes perfectly. This recipe is a delightful blend of breakfast and aperitif.

Difficulty:

easy

Ingredients (for 2 people):

• 2 waffles (4 halves)
• 60 g smoked salmon
• 40 g ricotta
• 40 g mascarpone
• 4 g salt
• 0.2 g pepper
• 4 fresh basil leaves
• 16 g olive oil
• 15 g chives

Preparation

Preheat the oven to 210°C (410°F). Place the frozen waffles in the oven and bake for about 5 minutes until they are crispy and golden brown.

In a bowl, combine the mascarpone, ricotta, finely chopped chives, and a pinch of salt. Stir until smooth and creamy.

Evenly spread the cheese mixture over the warm waffles, then gently arrange the smoked salmon on top. Drizzle with extra virgin olive oil and garnish with fresh basil leaves.

Tips:

Serve immediately to enjoy the perfect balance of flavors and textures.

A light fresh salad pairs wonderfully as a side dish.

Enjoy your meal!
