Salmon in puff pastry
Very easy to prepare, for 2 people.
- Salmon fillet 400g
- Roll of puff pastry 300 g (600g Koch package)
- Egg yolk
For the side dish
You can create various vegetable mixes!
- 4 carrots
- 3 zucchini
- half onion
- 500 g of potatoes
Defrost the Koch puff pastry (300 g), preferably on a floured work surface (for approx. 1 hour).
Peel the salmon fillet and cut it into strips (approx. 4 cm wide), add salt, pepper, thyme and lemon.
Peel the potatoes and carrots. Cut all the vegetables into equal large pieces, put them in a baking pan and season with salt, pepper and sunflower oil.
Preheat the oven to 200°C.
Arrange the salmon previously cut and marinated on the puff pastry.
Cut the puff pastry to wrap the fish easily. To close the rolls well, help yourself with a fork.
Place the salmon rolls on a baking tray covered with baking paper and bake for about 30 minutes (in a preheated oven at 200°). The side dish must be cooked together with the rolls, in one go!
Tip: brush the puff pastry rolls with egg yolk, to brown them and make them appetizing.
