Red beet gnocchi with sage butter

Ingredients for 4 people.


  • 1 Kg Koch’s Gnocchi refined with red beets
  • A knob of butter, about 25 g
  • Grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt (for cooking water)
  • 3 sage leaves
  • Preparation

    To start the dish, put a pot of water on the stove and bring it to the boil. Salt the cooking water and once boiling dip the frozen Gnocchi refined with red beets. Cook slowly, gnocchi will be ready once afloat (after approx. 2 minutes). During cooking stirring the gnocchi with a wooden spoon. Once ready, drain the gnocchi with a skimmer.

    Melt some butter in a pan together with the sage leaves. Briefly fry the leaves in the butter so that the aroma of the sage can unfold well. At the end add the cooked gnocchi and mix well. Serve with freshly grated Parmesan cheese.
