Linguine is a type of pasta similar to fettuccine and trenette but elliptical in section rather than flat. The name means “little tongues” in Italian, where it is a plural of the feminine linguina. This type of pasta originated in Liguria (North Italy).

The pasta is already pre-cooked.
Pot: boil in salted water for about one minute.
Microwave: covered with a sauce of your choice, heat for 3-4 minutes at 750W in a closed container.
