Farfalle in English butterflies, are generally used for the preparation of all types of pasta dishes.
The Farfalle got its name from the typical butterfly form. The pasta comes from the Italian region Lombardy and Emilia Romagna. The Farfalle appeared for the first time in the sixteenth century. Today the pasta type is one of the most popular in Italy.
The pasta is already pre-cooked.
Pot: boil in salted water for about one minute.
Microwave: covered with a sauce of your choice, heat for 3-4 minutes at 750W in a closed container.
Together with the pre-cooked farfalle we recommend the cream sauce with peas and ham, 4 cheese sauces and the sauce with salmon and shrimps.
