The original bruschetta comes from Abruzzo (region in Italy) and was a meal for poor people. A slice of bread was roasted, rubbed with garlic and drizzled with olive oil. Today the bruschetta is one of many antipasti in Italian cuisine and is known worldwide in many different variations. Koch’s new frozen bruschetta is available in three flavours: Margherita, Tuna & Onion and Ham & Mushrooms. Bruschetta’s bread is lightly toasted to reduce preparation time.
