Gnocchi with tomato sauce
- 1 Kg di Koch’s Gnocchi
- 800 g of tomato pulp
- 2 tablespoons of tomato paste
- 1 onion
- 2 cloves of garlic
- Olive oil
Heat water in a large pot over high, till the water boils.
Dip the frozen gnocchi in boiling salted water and cook for about 2 minutes. They will be ready once afloat.
Drain them with a skimmer.
For the sauce...
Heat olive oil in a large wide skillet on medium heat. Add the chopped onion, garlic. Stir to coat. Add tomato paste, tomatoes, basil, salt, pepper, then simmer. Optional, season with aromatic herbs as desired.
Mix the gnocchi with the sauce and the dish is ready!
Tip: Serve them with Parmesan cheese.
