Company background
Beginnings:
Koch dates back to 1980 and came from an idea of today’s owner, Peter Gojer, who had gained much experience as a chef abroad and the very brand of Koch reflects his professional calling.
Initially only specialities from his region of origin, South Tyrol (dumplings, spinach style ravioli and apple strudel), were produced in frozen form. To these an extensive range of Italian and international products was added in time, always with the principle of not adding artificial preservatives uppermost in mind.
To further extend the product range a company specialising in pasta operations was acquired in 1995 and in 2007 a second company expert in pasta fillings came under the KOCH umbrella
Today:
KOCH is proud of its position as production leader for certain products, as for example: potato dumplings, puff pastry-and lasagne dough. The company also works as co-packer for major brands and products are available in catering, in wholesale and retail outlets, commercial chains throughout Italy and in many foreign markets.
Since 2000 KOCH has enjoyed quality certification status and is constantly striving to improve. Currently exports are to: Austria, Germany, Switzerland, England, Norway, Ireland, Slovenia, Croatia, Hungary, Greece, Spain and France. |
